Manchester United will have to make an offer of at least €100m (£86.5m) if they wish to sign Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly, according to a report.

Manchester United have reportedly been told that they will have to come up with an offer of at least €100m (£86.5m) if they wish to sign Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly this summer.

The Red Devils were linked with the Senegal international ahead of the 2019-20 campaign before eventually breaking the transfer record for a centre-back to sign Harry Maguire.

However, United continue to be linked with the 28-year-old, who is allegedly regarded by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as one of the best three centre-backs in world football.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the 20-time English champions will have to come up with at least €100m (£86.5m) if they wish to open contract talks with Koulibaly.

The report claims that Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping a close eye on developments amid suggestions that Napoli are prepared to sell at the end of the season.

Victor Lindelof has largely operated alongside Maguire at the heart of the United backline this season, while Eric Bailly's return to fitness has presented Solskjaer with another option in that area of the field.
