Juventus director Maurizio Arrivabene rules out signing Manchester United forward Anthony Martial this month.

Juventus director Maurizio Arrivabene has ruled out the signing of Manchester United forward Anthony Martial.

United's interim boss Ralf Rangnick revealed last month that the 26-year-old has asked to leave the club, having failed to cement a regular place in the starting lineup.

Juventus are believed to be one of several clubs, along with Barcelona, Sevilla, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, who hold an interest in the French international.

However, Arrivabene has told journalist Fabrizio Romano that it is "not feasible" for Juve to spend a loan fee plus Martial's full salary to recruit him in January.

"With current conditions, it's not a feasible deal for us. Considering certain numbers, there are no advanced talks – we don't expect any discount from Man United," Arrivabene said.

Martial, who is allegedly earning around £150,000 per week at Old Trafford, has scored just one goal in 10 appearances for United across all competitions this season.
