Manchester United are reportedly demanding that any club interested in signing Anthony Martial on loan pay his £150,000-a-week wages in full.

Manchester United are reportedly demanding that Anthony Martial's wages be paid in full if he is to leave the club on loan this month.

Martial has made public his desire to move away from Old Trafford during the ongoing January transfer window, having fallen down the pecking order under first Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and then Ralf Rangnick.

Rangnick last week claimed that Martial had refused to play against Aston Villa - an accusation that the French forward was quick to deny.

Man United are open to letting Martial leave, but The Guardian reports that they are holding out for an interested club to pay his full wages for the duration of any loan spell.

The 26-year-old has reportedly rejected moves to Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United, but Sevilla, Juventus and Barcelona are also thought to be interested.

However, Man United's wage demands could prove problematic, with Sevilla only willing to cover half of his salary and both Juventus and Barca also reluctant to pay the full £150,000-a-week asking price.

The report also claims that the Red Devils want a loan fee on top of that, further limiting the number of potential suitors.

Martial has made just two Premier League starts all season for Man United.
