Inter Milan reportedly join Barcelona in monitoring out-of-favour Manchester United defender Daley Blind with a view to a January move.

Inter Milan have expressed an interest in signing Manchester United defender Daley Blind, according to reports.

The Netherlands international has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford, not featuring in the Premier League for the Red Devils since September 23.

Although United have the option of triggering a 12-month extension to Blind's contract beyond 2018, the full-back reportedly fears being let go by Jose Mourinho.

According to Calciomercato, Inter have joined Barcelona in monitoring the Dutchman with a view to a move in January, with both clubs seeking defensive reinforcements.

Since moving to Old Trafford in 2014, Blind has made a total of 136 appearances in all competitions.
