Luka Modric will consider a move away from Tottenham Hotspur, according to Croatia teammate Vedran Corluka.

Vedran Corluka has admitted that his Croatia teammate Luka Modric could leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Corluka left White Hart Lane in January and believes that a lack of Champions League football could force Modric to seek a move away from the club.

The 26-year-old said: "We all know it will be very difficult for Spurs to keep Luka because they do not have Champions League football next season.

"Luka is one of the best players in the world and the kind who wants to play in the best competition.

"He showed some loyalty by staying at Spurs last season when other teams wanted him. I only wish Luka the best. If he wants to go fine."

Modric has recently emerged as a top target for Manchester United.
