Jose Mourinho: "I don't welcome the break"

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho says that he 'does not welcome' the upcoming international break.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has described the upcoming international break as a "bad" thing for his side's momentum.

A 4-0 victory over struggling Crystal Palace saw United move top of the Premier League table today as they made it six wins from the first seven league games.

United's only dropped points so far have come in a 2-2 draw at Stoke City immediately after the last international break, and Mourinho is concerned about history repeating itself when they face Liverpool at Anfield on October 14.

"I don't welcome the break, it's bad," he told Sky Sports News.

"We had the first break and two days after the players came back we had to play another game. It's not a good situation for us but moaning doesn't help. We have to wait for them and hope there are not many problems."

United are unbeaten in their last three league visits to Anfield.
