Manchester United defender Paddy McNair sidelined for three weeks?

Manchester United defender Paddy McNair is understood to have been ruled out of action for three weeks with a hamstring injury.

Manchester United defender Paddy McNair has reportedly been ruled out for three weeks with a hamstring injury.

The 19-year-old was expected to replace club teammate Jonny Evans in the Northern Ireland squad for their upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers against the Faroe Islands and Greece.

However, the youngster is now expected to be out of action for most of October, according to BBC Sport.

McNair has started United's last two games in the Premier League after being called into the squad due to an defensive injury crisis at Old Trafford.
