Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Scott Parker has claimed that Liverpool will be out for revenge when they meet at Anfield on Monday.

The Reds were subjected to a humiliating 4-0 defeat at White Hart Lane earlier in the season, a result which Parker believes that they will be out to put right.

"I'm sure they will want to make amends for earlier in the season," he told the club's official website. "We were on fire in that game, played some great stuff and it was hard for Liverpool to live with us.

"It's always a big game at Anfield, they've had some great results and it will be tough. They have quality all over the pitch, all in good form, so we know it will be difficult.

"We'll prepare right, we'll be ready and we know what's in hand. We have to go there and deliver."

Spurs are currently third in the Premier League table.
