Jurgen Klopp made his Liverpool players watch back their 4-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur and analyse each goal in detail, according to a report.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp reportedly called his players to a team meeting earlier this week to reflect on their heavy 4-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Reds' underwhelming start to the season continued last weekend as they shipped three goals in the first half en route to a third Premier League match without victory.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Klopp was so unhappy with the nature of his side's latest defeat that he got his squad together for a lengthy inquest at their Melwood HQ on Monday.

Liverpool's players, led by captain Jordan Henderson, are said to have relived the defeat and gone over it with video analysis, examining each of the four goals conceded in detail.

The report suggests that those at fault held their hands up as part of the open and honest exchange, with goalkeeper Simon Mignolet and centre-back Dejan Lovren - the two men most culpable at Wembley Stadium - involved in the discussion.

Next up for Liverpool is a home match against Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon, as they look for just a third win in 11 matches overall.
