Sheffield Wednesday swoop for Gary Taylor-Fletcher

Leicester striker Gary Taylor-Fletcher signs on loan for Championship side Sheffield Wednesday.

Sheffield Wednesday have completed the signing of Leicester City striker Gary Taylor-Flecther on loan.

The 33-year-old, who has not featured for the Premier League club since their shock League Cup defeat to Shrewsbury Town on August 26, has joined the Owls on an emergency short-term deal.

Taylor-Flecther has previously represented Blackpool, Huddersfield Town, Lincoln City, Hull City, Leyton Orient and Dagenham & Redbridge, and has over 100 career goals.

The transfer was completed in time for Taylor-Fletcher to be available for selection against Norwich City this afternoon.
