Half-Time Report: Goalless between Reading, Leeds United at Madejski Stadium

It is goalless at the break in the Championship fixture between Reading and Leeds United at the Madejski Stadium.

Neither side have been able to force a breakthrough in the opening 45 minutes of the Championship clash between Reading and Leeds United at the Madejski Stadium.

The visitors threatened when Stuart Dallas collected the ball on the edge of the box and drilled a low effort towards goal, but Jonathan Bond made a solid stop.

Leeds almost got in again when a ball was lofted over the top of the Reading defence for the run of Alex Mowatt, but Jordan Obita came across to win the ball with an inch-perfect tackle.

Danny Williams created an opening for himself when he powered through a couple of tackles to raid into the box, but his touch let him down at the vital moment as the ball trickled out of his control.

The Whites came close just before the break when Sam Byram lifted the ball into the box, but Dallas could only guide his header from close range over the bar.
