Fulham manager Martin Jol has revealed that he wants veteran goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer to sign a new deal with the club.

The 40-year-old Australian's current contract is due to expire at the end of the season.

"He is a fantastic goalkeeper so you would have to be very good to fill that space," Jol is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "We have made him an offer so we are waiting."

Fulham have been linked with a summer move for FC Twente shot-stopper Nikolay Mihaylov.
