Sam Allardyce's Everton future in doubt?

Sam Allardyce is reportedly concerned for his future as Everton manager after holding talks with major shareholder Farhad Moshiri.

Everton manager Sam Allardyce is reportedly concerned about his future at the club after holding face-to-face talks with major shareholder Farhad Moshiri this week.

The 63-year-old took over from Ronald Koeman at Goodison Park in November and was given an initial deal that put him in charge of the club until the end of next season.

Allardyce has failed to make a connection with Toffees fans, however, with a vocal section of the support calling for him to be sacked when the current campaign is over.

According to The Mirror, the former West Ham United and Newcastle United boss met with Moshiri in London on Thursday to seek assurances over his future but was given no solid guarantees.

The newspaper reports that director of football Steve Walsh was also at the meeting and faces a similarly-uncertain future as Moshiri plans for an overhaul this summer.

Everton are currently eighth in the Premier League table, eight points off seventh-placed Burnley with three games of their season remaining.
