Cardiff City cancel Abu Dhabi training camp

Cardiff chairman Mehmet Dalman cancels Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer's plans to take the players on a training camp to Abu Dhabi following their 4-0 home thrashing by Hull.

Cardiff City have abandoned plans to take the players abroad for a warm-weather training camp following the 4-0 home thrashing by Hull City.

The Welsh outfit, who are now three points adrift of safety, were scheduled to fly to Abu Dhabi for five days ahead of this weekend's match at Tottenham Hotspur.

However, Bluebirds chairman Mehmet Dalman apparently visited the dressing room after the defeat on Saturday to inform the players and staff that the trip had been cancelled.

Cardiff have only won one top-flight game under the management of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, whose former club Manchester United went on a similar bonding session to Dubai a fortnight ago.

The Norwegian was appointed successor to Malky Mackay on January 2.
