Brentford manager Thomas Frank reacts to the news of Sean Dyche's recent dismissal, claiming that Burnley should build him a statue outside Turf Moor.

Brentford manager Thomas Frank has reacted to the news of Burnley firing Sean Dyche this week.

After nine-and-a-half years in charge, the Clarets parted ways with the 50-year-old with the club sat 18th in the Premier League table.

The football world has been reacting to the news since it was broken, with the former Burnley boss receiving a lot of praise from his fellow managers.

"I do not know what happened behind the scenes but looking from the outside, looking as the Brentford head coach, I think there is a lot of things we can learn from like a club like Burnley," Frank said to the press.

"Sean Dyche and his coaching staff, everyone involved with the football club, have done an unbelievable job. Sean Dyche deserves a lot of credit, they should build a statue of him outside Turf Moor."

Burnley have yet to announce an official replacement, but Sam Allardyce has emerged as the favourite to take on the role.
