Saturday's Bundesliga predictions with Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund in action

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Bundesliga action including Arminia Bielefeld vs. Bayern Munich and Hoffenheim vs. Borussia Dortmund.

Hoffenheim vs. Dortmund (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Hoffenheim host Borussia Dortmund as the 2020-21 Bundesliga season resumes following the international break, with both sides level on six points after two wins and a loss in each of their opening three matches.

BVB have failed to beat their forthcoming opponents in the last five meetings between the two sides, with Hoffenheim winning three of those matches.

We say: Hoffenheim 2-2 Borussia Dortmund

With two of the best strikers in the division on display and both sides missing key central defenders, we can reasonably expect to see a few goals at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena.

Given Hoffenheim's stunning win over Bayern and their excellent form against Dortmund in recent years, it would be no surprise to see the hosts avoid defeat once again in what will hopefully be an entertaining and even affair.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Mainz 05 vs. B. Leverkusen (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Mainz 05 and Bayer Leverkusen will both compete for their first win of the 2020-21 Bundesliga season at the Opel Arena on Saturday.

Hosts Mainz have lost all three matches so far this campaign, conceding 11 goals with only two in response. Leverkusen, meanwhile, have drawn all three games, also scoring twice but only conceding twice.

We say: Mainz 05 0-2 Bayer Leverkusen

We do not expect Mainz to be as bad defensively as they have been in recent weeks, but equally it is hard to see beyond a Leverkusen win even without Schick leading the line.

Both games were tight 1-0 victories for Leverkusen last season and we can see something similar here, with Mainz digging in for large spells of the game but ultimately the visitors' extra quality and class making the difference in key moments in order to pick up their first win of the campaign.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Hertha Berlin vs. Stuttgart (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Hertha Berlin will be looking to bounce back from two consecutive defeats prior to the international break when they continue their 2020-21 Bundesliga campaign at home to Stuttgart on Saturday.

The visitors were promoted from the second tier of German football last season and have made a decent impression upon their instant return to the top flight, picking up one win, one draw and one defeat from their opening three matches.

We say: Hertha Berlin 2-1 Stuttgart

Both sides have shown an ability to create chances and score goals so far this season so we expect to see a fairly open, entertaining game at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

After losing two games in a row, however, we think Hertha may have added motivation as well as a little more quality in midfield and attack in order to fire their way to a first home win of the season.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Freiburg vs. Werder Bremen (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Freiburg will be looking to recover from their lowly defeat to Borussia Dortmund when they welcome Werder Bremen to the Schwarzwald-Stadion for Saturday's Bundesliga clash.

In contrast, Bremen are searching for their third victory in succession following wins over Schalke and Arminia Bielefeld before the international break.

We say: Freiburg 1-1 Werder Bremen

Bremen have started the season positively and boast a strong recent record against Freiburg, so the visitors should feel confident of coming out on top here. However, Freiburg are not to be underestimated on home soil and will be determined to put things right following their humbling at Dortmund, so we expect both sides to walk away with a point apiece.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Augsburg vs. RB Leipzig (Saturday, 2.30pm)

The early pacesetters in the 2020-21 Bundesliga season will go head-to-head on Saturday afternoon as second-placed Augsburg welcome current leaders RB Leipzig to the WWK Arena.

Both sides have taken seven points from a possible nine thus far, with Augsburg drawing to Wolfsburg and Leipzig beating Schalke in gameweek three.

We say: Augsburg 1-2 RB Leipzig

Should Leipzig avoid defeat on Saturday, they will set a club record of nine away league matches without defeat, which is an added incentive for Nagelsmann's men to go out there and perform. Augsburg have also started the season brightly and are capable of making this a difficult afternoon for the visitors, but we are backing Leipzig to pull through.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Arminia Bielefeld vs. Bayern (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Arminia Bielefeld host current champions Bayern Munich at the Schuco Arena in Saturday's Bundesliga fixture.

After a shock 4-1 defeat to Hoffenheim, Bayern bounced back to beat Hertha Berlin in their last match whilst newly-promoted Arminia suffered their first loss of the season against Werder Bremen.

We say: Arminia Bielefeld 1-3 Bayern Munich

Bayern seemingly score goals for fun since Hansi Flick's appointment as head coach. In Thomas Muller, Gnabry and Lewandowski, Flick has a fearsome attacking trio which has been integral to the club's recent success. With no home fans to give Arminia a much-needed boost, the Bavarians are set to assert their dominance over the newcomers.

Our tipster partners are predicting that both teams will score (BTTS - yes).

Borussia M'bach vs. Wolfsburg (Saturday, 7.30pm)

Borussia Monchengladbach host Wolfsburg at Borussia-Park on Saturday as the 2020-21 Bundesliga campaign resumes following the international break.

The hosts have had a mixed start so far, winning one, drawing one and losing one of their opening three games, while the visitors are simultaneously unbeaten and winless after three consecutive draws.

We say: Borussia Monchengladbach 2-1 Wolfsburg

This fixture ended 3-0 to Gladbach after the resumption of football following the coronavirus crisis last season, but we expect it to be a little closer than that this time around.

Gladbach are generally a formidable side at home, though, winning 12 of their last 16 league games at Borussia-Park, so it would be a surprise if they fail to win two home matches in a row having disappointingly drawn 1-1 with Union Berlin last month. We think they have got a little more firepower to get over the line here against a Wolfsburg side struggling to create many clear cut chances.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
