A report claims that Borja Baston's time at Aston Villa could be coming to an early end, with Real Zaragoza interested in striking a deal should they earn promotion.

Aston Villa striker Borja Baston is reportedly in talks with Real Zaragoza over a return to his former club at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old has made only two appearances for the Villans since joining from Swansea City on deadline day in the January window.

Despite spending just three months at Villa Park, however, Spanish outlet AS reports that Baston is already considering an exit.

Zaragoza, where Baston spent a season on loan in 2014-15, are rumoured to have held discussions with the Spaniard over a summer transfer for a number of weeks.

However, it is claimed that any move is dependent on the club earning promotion to La Liga this season.

Los Manos are second in the Segunda Division, but play has been halted since early March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
