Barcelona are competing with AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund to sign Ajax defender Noussair Mazraoui, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly competing with AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund to sign Ajax defender Noussair Mazraoui on a free transfer at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old has made 25 appearances for his Dutch club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring five times and contributing three assists.

Mazraoui's contract with Ajax is due to expire at the end of June, though, and is set to leave the Amsterdam giants in search of pastures new.

Barcelona continue to be strongly linked with the Morocco international, who has scored 10 times and registered eight assists in 127 appearances for his current side in all competitions.

However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Milan and Dortmund are also firmly in the race to secure the defender's signature ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

Mazraoui - also previously linked with Manchester City and Arsenal - starred for Ajax in the group stages of this season's Champions League, helping his team win all six of their matches.
