Vaughan: England need to change approach

Michael Vaughan believes that the England players were "not good enough" against India in the ODI series.

Former England captain Michael Vaughan believes that the current national squad need to adapt their approach in order to win games away from home turf.

England slumped to a miserable 5-0 whitewash against India in the one-day international series.

"They've got to be dead honest," BBC Sport quotes Vaughan as saying. "We lost 6-1 in Australia, 5-0 in India two years ago and 5-0 in India now.

"For this set of players - that have all the right ingredients to be successful - it's not good enough.

"We're playing a different brand of cricket in England that we're not getting away from home."

Vaughan's comments come after England coach Andy Flower criticised his side's efforts in India.
