Sweden ends China's unbeaten run

The Swedish men's curling team have ended China's unbeaten run at the Sochi Winter Olympics with a tense 6-5 victory in overtime.

China scored a point in the 10th end to take the game to an extra round, but Sweden skip Niklas Edin played a good takeout with his second-to-last stone and then drew to the four-foot with his final shot.

In other results, improving Canada produced a comprehensive performance to thrash Norway 10-4, while the United States defeated last-placed Germany 8-5.

As it stands, Sweden are on top with five wins in six, while China are now level on wins with Great Britain in joint second. Canada are in fourth place, having overtaken Norway who now sit in fifth.
