USTA executive director Gordon Smith discusses plans to build a roof on Arthur Ashe Stadium at Flushing Meadows.

Executive director Gordon Smith has outlined the USTA's vision after plans were announced to build a roof on Arthur Ashe Stadium.

The USTA hopes that work will be concluded in time for the 2016 US Open, and in the video below, Smith reveals the benefits that the roof will provide.
