Result: Jo Wilfried-Tsonga eases past Fernando Verdasco

Jo Wilfried-Tsonga has continued his quest for a first Grand Slam title with a straight-sets victory over Fernando Verdasco.

The Frenchman converted five of eight break points en route to a 6-3 7-5 6-4 win over the 19th seed.

Tsonga, who took just two hours and six minutes to advance past Verdasco, will now take on American Mardy Fish for a place in the last eight.
