Result: Victoria Azarenka to face Serena Williams in third round

Victoria Azarenka will face Serena Williams in the third round of the US Open after defeating Gisela Dulko in straight sets.

The Belarusian came through her second round match in just over an hour and a half, winning 6-4 6-3.

The 22-year-old fourth seed broke the Argentinian's serve six times in a match where both women struggled to hold serve.

13-time Grand Slam winner Williams, 28th seed at this year's championships, lost just one game in her demolition of Michaella Krajicek.
