Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci have been crowned women's doubles champions at the US Open after a straight-sets victory over Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka.

The Italians, who were seeded second, defeated the Czech third seeds 6-4 6-2 to claim their second Grand Slam doubles title of the year.

The duo were also victorious in the doubles at the French Open earlier in the season.

Errani and Vinci will be first and second in the doubles world rankings when the new standings are published on Monday.
