Serena not thinking about Grand Slam record

Serena Williams has insisted that she is not thinking about beating Steffi Graf's Grand Slam record ahead of Sunday's US Open final against Victoria Azarenka.

The American world number one goes into the match six Majors behind Graf's all-time singles tally of 22.

"I can't think about it," Sky Sports News quotes Williams as saying. "It's so close but still so far. I have to play a great player and play great tennis."

Williams beat Azarenka in three sets to claim last year's US Open title.
