After play had been suspended on four occasions during Tuesday evening, the decision was made to abandon all ongoing matches at around 2.45am on Wednesday morning (UK time).

Elsewhere, Novak Djokovic leads Stanislas Wawrinka 2-0 in the opening set and Janko Tipsarevic is close to claiming the first set against Philipp Kohlschreiber, leading 5-2 and at deuce on the German's serve.
