Andy Murray has been named as the fourth seed for the upcoming US Open.

The Brit is behind Novak Djokovic [1], Rafael Nadal [2] and Roger Federer [3] in the Flushing Meadows tournament.

The world number four reached the final in 2008, which he lost to Roger Federer.

The draw for the first round takes place on Thursday, followed by the start of the competition on Monday.
