Ana Ivanovic "thrilled" to be in US Open last eight

Ana Ivanovic has spoken of her delight at making the quarter-finals of the US Open for the first time in her career.

The 24-year-old achieved the feat thanks to a 6-0 6-4 victory over Tsvetana Pironkova earlier today.

"It's the first time in the quarter-finals here so I'm very, very thrilled," she said during her post-match interview. "I just want to enjoy it."

Ivanovic has one Grand Slam title to her name, having won the French Open back in 2008.
