Victoria Azarenka: 'Serena Williams is greatest of all time'

Victoria Azarenka has described Serena Williams as the "greatest of all time" ahead of their US Open final clash later today.

The world number two faces the defending champion in the Flushing Meadows showpiece for the second year in a row.

"She's an amazing player. She's the greatest of all time," BBC Sport quotes the Belarusian as saying.

"You've got to fight. You've got to run, you've got to grind, and you've got to bite with your teeth for whatever opportunity you have.

"It's an amazing opportunity, something that every tennis player dreams of, to be in the final of the US Open and play against the best player in the world. It's something I'm so excited about. I can't wait to go out and play."

Both players have already won one Grand Slam each this year.
