Novak Djokovic sets up an Olympic semi-final with Andy Murray by knocking out fifth seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France.

Novak Djokovic has set up an Olympic semi-final with Great Britain's Andy Murray by beating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France this afternoon.

The Serbian broke at the first time of asking before moving to an early 3-0 lead in the sunshine on Centre Court.

Tsonga got on the board in his next service game but couldn't stop Djokovic, who broke again at the next chance before claiming the first set 6-1 in just over half an hour.

Tsonga mimicked Djokovic in moving 3-0 ahead in the second but the Frenchman couldn't break clear as Djokovic did, with the Serbian breaking back.

World number two Djokovic then made a crucial breakthrough at 5-5 to move ahead before serving the match out in the next.
