Result: John Isner sets up Jo-Wilfried Tsonga semi-final

John Isner has reached the semi-finals of the Paris Masters with a three-set victory over David Ferrer.

The American took the first set 6-3, before the world number five levelled the match when he took the second by the same score.

However, Isner fought back to claim the third 6-3 to progress to the final four.

The world number 25 will play Jo-Wilfried Tsonga for a place in the final after the Frenchman progressed due to opponent Novak Djokovic's withdrawal from the tournament through injury.
