Andy Murray seeks improvement

Andy Murray is hoping that his performance will improve for his third round Paris Masters match against Andy Roddick later this week.

The British number one was speaking after he defeated France's Jeremy Chardy this afternoon.

"I felt okay," Murray told Sky Sports News. "Maybe my legs weren't as strong and I didn't move how I can but I thought I played a relatively strong match.

"I'm glad to get through and hopefully I'll improve in the next round."

Murray's victory over Chardy was his 17th successive win.
