Rafael Nadal sells Real Mallorca stake

Nadal sells Mallorca stake

Former world number one Rafael Nadal has decided to sell the 10% stake that he and his uncle Miguel Angel Nadal had in La Liga club Real Mallorca.

The 25-year-old purchased the shares last year when his uncle, who played for Spain and Barcelona, become assistant coach at the club.

However, he has since cut ties with the islanders, prompting Nadal to sell his stake to German businessman Utz Claassen.

Nadal, who lives in Mallorca, is reportedly a Real Madrid supporter.
