Queen's Club to host Great Britain vs. France Davis Cup quarter-final

Queen's to host France clash

The Lawn Tennis Association has announced that this summer's Davis Cup World Group quarter-final between Great Britain and France will take place at Queen's Club in London.

The venue hosts the annual Aegon Championships tournament, a Wimbledon warm-up event, which GB's top player Andy Murray has won on three occasions.

"Queen's will be a perfect venue for our quarter-final match against France," said Murray.

"I've been playing at Queen's for 10 years now so I feel very at home there as do the rest of the British team, so it's a great choice."

The tie will take place between July 17 and 19. It will be the first time in 23 years that Britain has met France in the competition, with a semi-final against either Australia or Kazakhstan awaiting the winner.
