Victoria Azarenka, Max Mirnyi into mixed doubles semi-finals

Top seeds Victoria Azarenka and Max Mirnyi are into the semi-finals of the mixed doubles at the Olympics thanks to a straight-sets victory over India's Sania Mirza and Lleander Paes.

The Belarusians took the opening set 7-5 and were up 3-2 in the second before the match was called off for bad light on Friday evening at Wimbledon.

When play resumed, both teams continued to hold serve as the set went into a tie-break.

Azarenka and Mirnyi then took the tie-break 7-5 to set up a last-four encounter with third seeds Lisa Raymond and Mike Bryan of the USA.
