Victoria Azarenka: 'I have to focus'

Women's number one seed Victoria Azarenka says that if she focuses on her game then her Olympic semi-finals will "take care of themselves".

Women's world number one Victoria Azarenka has said that the results will "take care of themselves" if she focuses herself in the Olympic semi-finals.

The Belarusian has made it through to the last four in both the women's singles and the mixed doubles at Wimbledon, where she plays both matches this afternoon.

First, she faces hot favourite for the gold medal in the singles, Serena Williams, before joining Max Mirnyi to take on the Indian duo of Sania Mirza and Leander Paes.

"I really have to just focus on my next game and the results will take care of themselves," said the 23-year-old.

"It's really a matter of just trying to stay focused in the tournament. It seems really close, but it's still far away. Right now I just want to rest a little bit and get my mind back on it."

Azarenka, seeded first in both the singles and mixed doubles, won her first Grand Slam at the Australian Open earlier this year.
