David Young has signed a one-year deal with Leeds Carnegie.
The 26-year-old tighthead prop moves to the Headingly outfit, who were relegated from the Aviva Premiership this year, after two seasons at Edinburgh.
"I am really pleased to be here,” he said of his signing. “Leeds are clearly an ambitious club who want to get back into the Premiership and I want to be part of that.
"The atmosphere within the group is really good and I have felt right at home straight away. Pre-season is always a tough time of year but you have to get on with your job and get through it. However, here everyone is driving each other on and there is a great team ethos."
The Scotland A international represents the club’s fifth signing of the close season, following Joe Ford, Dan Hemingway, Ryan Burrows and Stevie McColl.
