Gregor Townsend handed Glasgow Warriors job

Scotland assistant coach Gregor Townsend will take charge of Glasgow Warriors in the summer.

The 38-year-old will replace Sean Lineen, who is due to become Scottish Rugby's head of player acquisition, a newly-created role.

Townsend is currently part of Andy Robinson's coaching staff with the Scottish national team.

His move to Warriors will be his first solo venture into management.
