New Zealand flanker Victor Vito not thinking about Rugby World Cup

New Zealand flanker Victor Vito insists that he is not thinking about the Rugby World Cup after being included in the All Blacks' starting XV against Australia.

Victor Vito has insisted that he is not thinking about the Rugby World Cup after being named in New Zealand's starting XV against Australia.

The flanker was a surprise inclusion for the All Blacks' Bledisloe Cup decider in Auckland on Saturday when coach Steve Hansen announced his side earlier this weekend.

Vito's last start for his country came almost a year ago, but the 28-year-old is not getting too carried away by his latest chance to impress.

"It's pressure rugby always with the All Blacks, whether it's a Bledisloe decider or it's a Test against Argentina," he is quoted as saying by ESPN. "They are all pretty important, so we just have to go out and do our jobs.

"We just want to make sure we win that battle up front. That means we have to front up physically and obviously the number six jersey has got a lot of kudos with that role."

Vito has made a total of 26 appearances for New Zealand since 2010.
