Brodie Retallick: New Zealand can "lift it up a few notches"

Retallick: 'More to come from New Zealand'

Brodie Retallick has warned semi-final opponents South Africa that there is still more to come from New Zealand.

The All Blacks produced one of the finest knockout-stage displays in Rugby World Cup history on Saturday night to comfortably see off France 62-13 at the Millennium Stadium.

Despite crossing over nine times on their way to a record victory in Cardiff, Retallick believes that New Zealand are still capable of more as they prepare for next weekend's southern hemisphere showdown.

"We're happy with the result and will celebrate tonight," the scorer of the Kiwis' opening try told Sports Mole. "It is something that we will enjoy, but we must go again next week.

"We fed off each other; the guys were really up for it tonight. Knockout rugby does strange things to you, so we knew we couldn't give France a chance.

"South Africa are a team we know well, but we will analyse them over the next week. We can possibly lift it up a few notches for a big game against the Springboks."

South Africa beat Wales at Twickenham to secure their place in the last four.
