All Blacks call up uncapped Charlie Faumuina

The All Blacks have made just one change to their squad for the Rugby Championship, with uncapped Blues prop Charlie Faumuina receiving a call-up.

Faumuina replaces tighthead Ben Tameifuna of the Chiefs.

"We would like to congratulate Charlie on his selection," said All Blacks head coach Steve Hansen. "He had to wait a while to get over his calf injury before he could be selected officially in the All Blacks, so it will be exciting for him and his family.

"He's an outstanding front rower and we look forward to seeing him play at the next level."

Chiefs centre Sonny Bill Williams has been omitted following his move to Japan, while the injured Conrad Smith has been included.
