Racing Metro centre Jamie Roberts plays down exit talk

Racing Metro centre Jamie Roberts plays down speculation linking him with a move back to Wales.

Racing Metro centre Jamie Roberts has dismissed speculation linking him with a move back to his native Wales.

Recent reports in France have suggested that the 27-year-old could be on his way out of the Top 14 club alongside international teammate Dan Lydiate.

However, Roberts has been quick to make clear that he does not know where the rumours have come from.

"It's the first I've heard of it and I will raise the issue with the coaches tomorrow," he told Sky Sports News. "It's interesting to say the least, but I have no idea with this kind of stuff. I just have to work hard in the gym, out on the training field and hopefully make the team for the weekend."

Roberts, who has won 60 caps for Wales, joined Racing Metro from Cardiff Blues in 2013.
