Trinh-Duc recalled by France

Francois Trinh-Duc has been recalled to France's Six Nations squad, after fly-half Remi Tales was forced to pull out of next Saturday's tournament opener against England with an arm injury.

It means that the Montpellier stand-off, who earned his last cap against Scotland in the 2013 competition, will compete for selection with Jean-Marc Doussain and Jules Plisson for the number 10 shirt, but head coach Philippe Saint-Andre has revealed he hopes to have Tales back soon.

He said: "Francois Trinh-Duc is back with us. Remi will heal and we hope he will be back on the turf very soon."

Trinh-Duc was part of the France team that narrowly lost the 2011 Rugby World Cup Final to New Zealand.
