France vs. Ireland given new date

France's Six Nations fixture against Ireland will now be played on Sunday, March 4.

The two nations had originally been due to meet in Paris on Saturday evening.

However, the wintry conditions meant that the match was called off ten minutes before the scheduled kickoff because of a frozen pitch.

The Irish Rugby Union are believed to be disappointed with the new date as they are due to face Scotland on the following Saturday.
