Owen Farrell: 'Injuries won't change Wales'

England fly-half Owen Farrell does not expect Wales to change their playing style for their meeting at the Rugby World Cup.

Owen Farrell has said that he does not expect Wales to change their playing style after suffering a string of injuries ahead of their match against England at the Rugby World Cup.

Warren Gatland's side lost Leigh Halfpenny and Rhys Webb before the start of the tournament, while Cory Allen tore his hamstring in the win over Uruguay yesterday.

The England fly-half told reporters: "Wales want to play as much rugby as they can in your half. They want to get as many people as they can in the front line and put pressure on you.

"I'm sure they'll have something up their sleeve, they've had a long time to prepare as we have. I don't think they'll change the way they play though. They've played the same way for a few years now. They are not going to get within two weeks of a World Cup and change things they've lost a few players.

"It'll be brilliant. I've never seen Twickenham like it was on Friday night. If the crowd keep getting behind us like that it will help us immensely."

The two sides meet at Twickenham on Saturday.
