Michael Cheika: 'England favourites to beat Australia'

Australia coach Michael Cheika says that England are favourites to win the Rugby World Cup Pool A clash on Saturday.

Australia coach Michael Cheika has said that England are favourites to win the Rugby World Cup match between the countries on Saturday.

England currently trail Australia by three points in Pool A and the Wallabies will secure their place in the knockout rounds with a win.

"England are the home team, so they're going to be the favourites," Cheika told reporters.

"It's a tough place to win. That part is pretty straightforward. I don't know how they'll be, that's their business.

"We are going to have to improve some of the pieces of our game, so we can get to the standards we need to be at for the game on Saturday, and we're going to be working hard on our improvements."

England's Tom Youngs has said that he believes the team will qualify for the quarter-finals.
