Wigan Warriors score nine tries to beat London Broncos 48-18 in the Super League this afternoon.

Wigan Warriors proved too strong for London Broncos as they recorded a 48-18 win in the Super League this afternoon.

There were three tries for each side in a closely-matched first half, with Pat Richards's superior accuracy with the boot giving the home side a narrow 22-18 lead at the break.

Wigan were without Sam Tomkins for a time in the opening 40 minutes as the reigning Man of Steel was sin binned for dissent.

The hosts started the second half brightly, Tomkins and Richards both adding tries inside the opening 10 minutes, before Broncos captain Craig Gower was shown a yellow card.

Josh Charnley and Iain Thornley both finished the match with two tries, as the Warriors crossed the try line nine times in total.
