Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane hails team's commitment

Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane says that his players executed his intructions perfectly during their win over Warrington Wolves.

Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane his praised his players' commitment after watching them book a place in the Super League Grand Final with a 16-12 win over Warrington Wolves.

The 50-year-old said that his side played with good tempo and executed his tactics on the playing field perfectly.

"I didn't really want us to go for a drop goal," BBC Sport quotes him as saying. "I thought if we played with some commitment to our attack and play with a tempo we could score a try and they did that.

"I got a message on and the players, like they've done all year, executed it perfectly."

Wigan will take on arch rivals St Helens in the final following the Saints' 30-12 win over Catalans Dragons on Thursday evening.
