Wane hails Wigan's commitment

Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane his praised his players' commitment after watching them book a place in the Super League Grand Final with a 16-12 win over Warrington Wolves.

The 50-year-old said that his side played with good tempo and executed his tactics on the playing field perfectly.

"I didn't really want us to go for a drop goal," BBC Sport quotes him as saying. "I thought if we played with some commitment to our attack and play with a tempo we could score a try and they did that.

"I got a message on and the players, like they've done all year, executed it perfectly."

Wigan will take on arch rivals St Helens in the final following the Saints' 30-12 win over Catalans Dragons on Thursday evening.
