Warrington Wolves have moved up to second in the Super League table with a 37-18 win over champions Leeds Rhinos at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
The hosts stormed into a 30-0 lead in the first half after a try from Trent Waterhouse was added to with braces from Chris Riley and Gareth O'Brien. Meanwhile, Brett Hodgson kicked over all five goals to maximise his side's advantage.
The Rhinos responded at the end of the opening 40 minutes when Kevin Sinfield went over and added the extras to make the score 30-6 at the break.
Leeds had another try on 45 minutes thanks to Rob Burrow, while Sinfield again kicked the conversion.
Lee Briers scored with a drop goal for the Wolves on 65 minutes before a second converted try for Burrows meant that it would be a nervous final 12 minutes for Warrington.
However, they were able to see off their opponents with eight minutes to play when Ryan Atkins's try was added to with the boot from Gareth O'Brien.
