Warrington Wolves sign Anthony England

Grand Final runners-up Warrington Wolves sign 26-year-old prop forward Anthony England from Featherstone Rovers.

Warrington Wolves have signed prop forward Anthony England from Featherstone Rovers.

The 26-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the Grand Final runners-up.

Wolves' head coach Tony Smith told reporters: "He's a player signed from the Championship; one who we have monitored and admired from a distance.

"He was pointed out to us and we are really pleased to give Anthony an opportunity. He's ready for it and he's desperate to make it in Super League."

England made 27 senior appearances for Featherstone. He has also had spells with Castleford Tigers, Gateshead Thunder and Dewsbury Rams.
